Chris Cardwell is a trial lawyer in GSRM's Litigation and Labor and Employment Sections. His practice focuses on representing transportation, healthcare, entertainment, manufacturing, and other companies in all types of employment lawsuits, as well as personal injury, toxic tort, and business cases.
Chris is Martindale Hubbell AV® Peer Review Rated, and was named a Mid-South Rising Star by Mid-South Super Lawyers magazine.
Chris belongs to the American (Labor & Employment and Litigation sections), Tennessee (Labor & Employment and Litigation sections), Missouri, Illinois and Nashville Bar Associations, as well as the National Association of Railroad Trial Counsel.
While studying law at Washington University in St. Louis, Chris served as the Executive Notes & Topics editor of the Washington University Law Quarterly. Before law school, he received a bachelor's degree in political science from Rhodes College, where he played on the varsity basketball team.
Outside of the office, Chris serves as a board member for the Nashville State Community College Foundation and is on Rhodes College's Red and Black Executive Committee
